“Kids Club HQ has substantially reduced the time I spend on finance and registers. On top of that queries are answered efficiently and in good time. The customer service has been fantastic since I subscribed to the system in 2018”
Goodbye admin, hello digital efficiency.
See how your club could run smoothly with Kids Club HQ.
Why we’re more than just an out-of-school club admin system – and why that matters to you
Back in April 2026, SACA (the School Aged Childcare Association), the national body that influences policy, shares sector data and connects the leading organisations shaping school-aged childcare across the UK, held a flagship event called CYP Unite 2026 at Twickenham Stadium.
The event saw professionals from all over childcare, education, health, leisure, safeguarding and local authorities come together in one place - you may have been there! - and everyone was united by the day’s mission: Every Child, Every Opportunity.
Our founder, Martin, attended too and was emboldened by the ambition that everyone there had for a brighter future, especially SACA themselves, even though many providers are currently reacting to challenges such as balancing increased family demand against recruitment, compliance and financial sustainability pressures.
After spending the day listening, connecting and learning from the attendees, Martin was moved to take further steps to connect more officially with this ambitious organisation.
The first step to helping shape school-aged childcare in the UK
If you don’t ask, you don’t get! After the event, Martin decided to put his hand up and formally apply to become an official SACA Supporting Partner, which meant we needed to make the case that we’re genuinely committed to aligning and working with them on their mission, not just adding a pretty logo to our website.
Well, we felt that the pitch itself was straightforward, because our values already aligned with theirs. Here’s where the crossovers are:
- Families first, quality always, support the people running clubs
- Hundreds of providers are already using Kids Club HQ, including large multi-site organisations, so we have the know-how to help inform SACA as best we can
- We have one centralised system for bookings, payments, registers and parent communication, making your lives easier
- Automated invoicing and real-time registers that cut admin and strengthen safeguarding
- And we have a genuine, long-term commitment to helping providers grow — we’re not just a software subscription
And now we’re part of it! Helping UK childcare become even more effective
Yes! We got it, and Kids Club HQ is now an official supporting partner of SACA. This means we now work closely with the national body that helps make a positive impact on policy, distributes sector data, and brings together the leading organisations that work in school-aged childcare across the UK.
This means we’re now:
- Visible across the SACA website and LinkedIn network
- Invited to quarterly events and networking opportunities
- Able to share expertise and insight directly with SACA Founder Members
- Part of a growing community helping to shape the future of the sector — not just observing it from the sidelines
You deserve the best booking system – by real people who understand
This is not just our news; it’s yours too. And we wouldn’t have done any of this if it wasn’t for wanting the best for our Kids Club HQ customers.
So what does this update mean for you?
- Expertise you can trust: Kids Club HQ is now formally recognised by the sector’s own professional body as a partner with aligned values – and our values are what keep us going every day
- A platform that keeps pace: Being so close to SACA means we stay close to policy shifts, sector trends and what providers actually need — so our platform will keep evolving in genuinely useful ways
- You benefit too: When your booking system is connected to the national network influencing wraparound care standards, that ripple effect reaches your setting — through better tools, better insight and a stronger collective voice for our wonderful sector
- Built for all sizes: SACA’s founder members include some of the UK’s largest providers. Kids Club HQ already works at a large scale — but, crucially, the platform is just as accessible for smaller settings too, and we never want to seem ‘too big to care’
- Independent proof it works: Providers like Act First Drama School, Simply Out Of School and Re:play have called Kids Club HQ fundamental to their growth. The SACA partnership is validation of the relationship we’ve fostered with you throughout the years
We’re always evolving and always listening
The message of the CYP Unite conference was crystal clear: providers who plan strategically now for 2026/27 will find themselves in a stronger position than those waiting on government policy to affect change.
Kids Club HQ has spent years working side by side with school-aged childcare providers of all shapes and sizes — from single-site breakfast clubs to sprawling multi-site organisations — allowing them to focus on both their strategy and day-to-day work. We’ve built up a genuine understanding of what you actually deal with day to day: the admin pile-ups, the safeguarding pressures, the parent queries at 7am (argh!). That knowledge has always driven how we develop the platform — and this year, it took us somewhere pretty exciting.
In a sector where you need a quick and efficient booking system that you can trust with your precious business, becoming a SACA Supporting Partner is our way of saying ‘we’re in this for the long haul’. Not just as a tool you log into every day, but as a genuine part of our school-aged childcare community.
If you ever have questions about any of it — you know where we are!
